BREAKFORTH!!!

BREAKFORTH!!!

Good morning friends and happy new month to you.
Welcome to the last month of the year, the long awaited month is here again and 2020 in view. Giving thanks to God for thus far. This year may seems challenging and somehow but also we thank God for the success achieved therein. Our theme these month says: “BREAK FORTH”.
“Whenever waiting is over for any man, breaking forth is the next thing,”
Genesis 38: 27-30,
“Now it came to pass, at the time for giving birth, that behold, twins were in her womb. And so it was, when she was giving birth, that the one put out his hand; and the midwife took a scarlet thread and bound it on his hand, saying, “This one came out first.” Then it happened, as he drew back his hand, that his brother came out unexpectedly; and she said, “How did you break through? This breach be upon you!” Therefore his name was called Perez. Afterward his brother came out who had the scarlet thread on his hand. And his name was called Zerah.”
“The coming out is going to be a sudden one,” Rev Kotila continued, saying people will be asking, “How did you break forth?”
“We have been ascribed a great destiny. The devil is not comfortable because of that great destiny,” he said telling, “The devil does not fight what he does not fear; whatever the devil fights, he fears.” Why? It is because your destiny is a glorious one. He wants to make sure you don’t move into that destiny. He will do anything to make you stagnant. The best thing he would do is to move you in circles and moving around in circles is not movement.
God wants you to move to your destination; because you have a destination. He wants to take you there. The Bible says He took the children of Israel out so that He can take them in. “God does not take you out and leave you out,” he said. He takes you out and takes you in; and takes you to the land of your greatness. “And that is the commitment of God in your life,” he added.
Isaiah 60:15,
“Whereas you have been forsaken and hated, So that no one went through you, I will make you an eternal excellence, A joy of many generations.”
“He wants to make you a joy of many generations and an eternal excellence,” he said adding, “If God has destined you to be great and you decide to be small, something is wrong. Nothing is wrong with God. We need to make a commitment to the Word God has spoken.”
Romans 8:28,
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”
“God has ordained greatness in us,” he said. And the greatness in us is greater than any greatness the devil gives anyone. The devil fights you before you become great. That’s why he starts fighting you from infant, that’s why he tried to kill Moses and Jesus when they were infants. The devil is not fighting your flesh; he’s fighting your greatness.
“But you need to make up your mind that whatever instances you’re in, you need to look to the Lord,” he continued. My help comes from the Lord.
One of the things that close people up is curses. Curses hold you down so that you cannot enter into the fullness of your destiny. They prevent you from becoming great, and reduce you to be small.
Genesis 49: 3-4,
““Reuben, you are my firstborn, My might and the beginning of my strength,
The excellency of dignity and the excellency of power. Unstable as water, you shall not excel,”
Rueben was the firstborn and suddenly he becomes the last born. He not only became the last one, he became no one. The position of Rueben was taken by Joseph and the other last born position was taken by Ephraim and Manasseh. In Scripture, many of the firstborns have problems.
“But there is a rescuer; Jesus of Nazareth came because He is the first born from the dead. He had no problem,” he said. “Hallelujah! He is ready to release us into our destiny.”
Romans 8:29,
“For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.”
“Our destiny is a glorious destiny,” he continued saying, “Because He wants us to manifest His glorification.”
When Jacob was going to come forth, there was a fight in the womb of Rebekah. The prophet said there were two nations. “So don’t think your baby as a baby, your baby is a nation,” he said. When we think, God wants you to think generationally.
Psalm 22:30,
“A posterity shall serve Him. It will be recounted of the Lord to the next generation,”
The composition of this woman has moved from a nation to generation. A generation is greater than a nation. That’s why Jesus said you are a chosen generation, not a nation. He moves from generation to generation. He intended in a generation, a royal priesthood. The dream of God from the beginning of Exodus was to raise a Kingdom of Priests. But He has to fulfil it in Jesus; that’s why our order of priesthood is the order of Melchizedek.
Jacob held the heels of Esau. Esau had the first birth but Jacob had the prophesy. “Prophesy positions you, not your birth right,” he said saying it is the matter of prophesy. A journey to a man’s destiny will only be actualized when a man understands his prophesy.
“You will know the fulfilment of your destiny was based on the understanding of prophesy,” he continued. The Bible is a book about prophesy; His spirit is the spirit of prophesy. The Spirit of Christ is the Spirit of prophesy. If you understand it; then fulfilment will become possible.
“I can’t let go of my ultimate at the expense of the immediate,” he said reminding how Esau lost his destiny for porridge. When you lose your birth right, you lose your blessing. We could be talking today about the God is Abraham, Isaac and Esau. How many had let go of their destiny at the expense of the immediate?
“Sometimes you go through some pain, but pain is a gift. If you don’t feel some pain, you will be dead quickly,” he said. Pain is not to last but God lasts. You’ll hurt yourself more if you don’t forgive. Pain must not hurt you from a great future. Practice advance forgiveness. Jesus said, ‘forgive them for they do not know what they are doing.’
Philippians 4:13,
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
There is temporal pain that brings permanent gain; and there is temporal gain that brings permanent pain. Whatever grieves you at the moment, leave it outside. When the process is completed, it is completed.
Was Jacob blessed? He labored for seven years and another seven years more for Rachel. He was grieved in the house of Laban. When the angel wrestled with him, he was breaking forth. “If you want to break forth, you have to wrestle with your pain, fear, excuses, and limitations – these things hinder you from your destination,” he said. Resolution is now, not 2015. Procrastination does not make change; procrastination is a stealer of destiny.
Daniel 2:21,
“And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings;
He gives wisdom to the wise, And knowledge to those who have understanding.”
“This is your season. God is pushing you to another level; something new is about to happen in your life,” he said. People will ask ‘how did you break forth?’
1 Corinthians 2:9,
“But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man, The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
“Break forth and get it! People will not be able to explain how your greatness happened,” he continued. People expect you to make it but not make it big. Out he came, and they called his name Perez, and he became the great, great, grandfather of Jesus. But, Zerah never became anything (Genesis 38: 27-30 ).
“How? Because the Lord will take you there,” he said.
Zechariah 4:6,
“‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts.”
“Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. Liberty to become who God wants you to be,” he said. Get ready because the beauty of light is about to break forth.
“You don’t test the water, you step in the water. Step in and break forth!” he called. Breaking forth cannot happen until your mind accepts God. A doubting mind shall receive nothing from the Lord.
Psalm 19:14,
“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.”
“As you think, so are you. If you think break forth, you will break forth. Don’t allow yourself to sleep spiritually,” he said. The man was hanging from the roof and the people made space for him (Mark 2: 1-12 ). When you push, people will not create space for you.
“You can only break forth in obedience to God,” he said. The Lord delights in the prosperity of the people.
